Michael Jackson Use To Prank Call Actor Russell Crow

On Sunday, Russell Crowe recalled the most bizarre yet hilarious anecdote of his career — that time Michael Jackson prank called him for TWO YEARS.

Yep, the King Of Pop was ballsy enough to continuously prank a man who between 1999 and 2005 was involved in four violent altercations.

Honestly, this makes us see the music legend in a whole new light!

As for Russell, he was not as amused by the singer's playful nature:

"Two or three f**king years, I never met him, never shook his hand, but he found out the name I stayed in hotels under, so it didn't matter where I was, he'd ring up do this kind of thing, like you did when you were 10, you know."

When the actor was asked what the calls consisted of, Crowe recalled:

"Is Mr. Wall there? Is Mrs. Wall there? Are there any Walls there? Then what's holding the roof up? Ha ha.' You're supposed to grow out of doing that, right?

"He'd ring me and in a strong voice and say, 'There is an emergency and you need to leave the building. I'd ask, 'Who is this?' And he'd say, 'Do not worry Russell, just kidding, this is Michael.'"

While we're not sure why Michael was preoccupied with the actor or had knowledge of his aliases(?!), we're just glad it happened… even if was at Russell's expense. It's just all too funny!
