Student stabbed at high school in Upper Marlboro

A student was stabbed at Frederick Douglass High School in Upper Marlboro, Md. Tuesday morning, according to the Prince George's County Schools public information officer.

Two male students got into a physical altercation around 7:40 a.m. at the high school located at 8000 Croom Road, Prince George's County police said.

One student had a knife and stabbed the other. One student has minor injuries and the other a serious but non-life threatening injuries. The stabbed student has been taken to the hospital, according to a Prince George's County Schools spokesperson.

The school is not on lock down, police said.
