Reporter Robbed At Gun Point During Live Broadcast

While waiting to go live SABC's contributing editor Vuyo Mvoko was a victim of mugging outside the hospital in full view of SABC cameras. He was reporting on Zambian President Edgar Lungu arrival to Milpark hospital.

During the video, you can see journalist Vuyo Mkovo standing in front of the camera while being accosted by two men.

Mkovo moves out of the camera shot and the two men appear to chase after him. Then, you can hear Mkovo say, “We’re being mugged.”


Breaking: 3 Stabbed At Morgan State University

Baltimore police say three people have been stabbed at Morgan State University in Baltimore.

Detective Ruganzu Howard, a police spokesman, says officers were called to the university Tuesday afternoon for reports of a stabbing.

When the officers arrived, Howard says they discovered one person suffering from a stab wound to the chest.

Howard says that person is alive, but the wound is serious.

Howard says two others also were stabbed, though their conditions were not immediately known.


Pinson Valley HS teacher arrested for sexual contact with student

A 27-year-old Pinson Valley High School female teacher has been charged with having sexual contact with a 17-year-old male student.

Jennifer Marie Perry of Odenville is facing a charge of school employee having sexual contact with a student under 19 years old.

Perry told school officials that there was a rumor at the school that she had engaged in a sex act with a male student, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

She denied the rumor, resigned and left Pinson Valley's campus on Feb. 24.

Two police officers have reportedly been shot in Ferguson, Mo. following the resignation of Police Chief Thomas Jackson.

Protesters gathered outside of the Ferguson Police Department on Wednesday night and into Thursday morning as the latest chapter in the shooting death of Michael Brown unfolded.


Wife Stabs Husband For Having Nude Photos On His Phone

An argument over nude photos ended with a woman stabbing her husband in Dos Palos on Saturday, according to authorities.

Dos Palos police say Jasmine Teltow, 21, and her husband started arguing about the photos on a phone. They say things got physical and then the man was stabbed.

The victim was flown to a Modesto-area hospital for treatment. He has since been released.

Teltow was arrested and booked into the Merced County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder.

The couple's two children were turned over to Child Protective Services.


79 Year Old Grandma Arrested After Shooting Nephew For Stealing $20 Dollars

Age is nothing but a number when it comes to money. 

A 79-year-old woman was arrested Sunday morning after Mobile police say she shot her nephew in the foot over an argument about $20.

Around 9:30 a.m. officers responded to the 400 block of Gaston Street for a report of one person shot. The victim stated the suspect, his 79-year-old great aunt Ira Peterson, shot him once in the foot following an argument over money, according to Mobile Police Department spokesman Terence Perkins.
