Ireland Becomes First Nation To Legalize Same Sex Marriage

Same-sex couples will soon be able to walk down the aisle in the Emerald Isle.

Ireland became the first country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage through a popular vote on Saturday -- and what a popular vote "yes" was in the landmark referendum that will change the nation's constitution.

With votes tallied from nearly all of Ireland's 43 parliamentary constituencies, the measure will sail through with more than 60% of voters approving, according to official results.

WNBA Stars Brittney Griner & Glory Johnson Marry in Phoenix

WNBA Stars Brittney Griner of Phoenix Mercury and Tulsa Shock’s Glory Johnson wed Friday on a mountaintop in Phoenix, according to People.

Griner and Johnson, both 24, said their “I dos” at Phoenix’s Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort before approximately 75 guests. Johnson wore a strapless champagne gown she chose while on an episode of TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress, according to People.

The couple, engaged since August of 2014, had their first dance to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” reports People.

Pat Robertson tells woman to forgive husband's drunken gay affair since he was drunk and not 'habitual homosexual''

A woman whose husband of 11 years confessed to cheating in her with a male member of their church isn't sure if she should forgive him or not.

So, she wrote in to 84-year-old Pat Robertson who is one of the most outspoken anti-gay preachers in the US.

But Robertson, speaking on his The 700 Club television program on Monday (27 April) told the woman that 'of course' she should forgive her husband and stay in the marriage.

Straight High-Schooler Invites Gay Best Friend To The Prom

There's still some good in the world.

Jacob Lescenski of Las Vegas asked his best friend Anthony Martinez to prom.

Jacob is straight, and Anthony is gay, but Jacob figured who better to go to the dance with than someone he considers a brother?

Jacob popped the question by unfurling a giant banner that read “You’re hella gay, I’m hella str8, but you’re like my brother so be my d8!”

Anthony is on the student council, and is often responsible for planning school dances, but lamented that he never gets asked to go.

16 Year Old Gay Student Stabbed With Screwdriver As Principal Watches

Atlanta police have charged four students for allegedly participating in a 20-person melee directed at two gay teens.

Tim Jefferson, 16, told WGCL that he was leaving Carver School of Technology with his friend when classmates began shouting racial and homophobic slurs.

Cell phone video obtained by WGCL showed dozens of students huddled around as a young man is being beaten. According to WGCL reporter Tylar Bacome, students described the melee as a “5-round fight with punches being thrown by as many as 20 students at one point.”

Dr. Phil: Bruce Jenner Too Old To Transition

Dr. Phil appeared on Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday and was asked would he ever interview Bruce Jenner, who recently began transitioning to a woman.  The Dr.'s response left a sour taste in many people's mouth.

McGraw's response started off strong.

"First off I would say look, if it's what you want to do, do it! I mean what the hell does it matter what anybody else thinks," McGraw said to Kimmel as the audience applauded, before taking a questionable turn.

Planet Fitness drops member after transgender identity complaint

It’s a business that sells itself on being non-judgmental but Planet Fitness has allegedly revoked the membership of a woman for complaining.

Yvette Cormier, a member at the Midland location, says she had no idea what that meant until a few days ago.

“I was stunned and shocked. He looked like a man.. He did not look like a woman,” says Cormier. Cormier is talking about a man who walked into the woman’s locker room while she was getting undressed. She says she couldn’t believe her eyes.

“This is very unprofessional. This is very scary,” continues Cormier.
