NFL Suspends Tom Brady For 4 Games Amid Infategate Scandal

The NFL has announced its punishment of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for his alleged involvement in the Deflategate scandal earlier this year. He will be suspended for the first four games of the 2015-2016 season without pay.

In addition, the Patriots will be fined $1 million, lose their 2016 first-round pick and their 4th round pick in 2017.

Josie Harris, the mother of three of Mayweather’s children, is suing him for damages in excess of $20 million. According to TMZ Sports’ report, Harris feels humiliated after Mayweather spoke on the domestic violence case he had with her in 2010. A Pennsylvania man was arrested Saturday after an argument over the merits of basketball players Michael Jordan and LeBron James, the Centre Daily Times first reported.

Though it's unclear who Daniel Mondelice, 22, believes to be the better player, he ultimately lost the argument after being charged with aggravated assault for allegedly resorting to violence to make his point.


Nike Gets Contract For New NBA Uniforms

Nike, already a major fixture in the NBA is about to get even bigger brand recognition throughout the league.

A published report Thursday said Nike will be the next brand to outfit NBA teams after Adidas' deal expires at the end of the 2016-17 season.

Details remain to be worked out, but Nike has separated itself after a two-brand race with Under Armour, the Sports Business Daily reported. The deal may be announced Friday at the NBA Board of Governors meeting in New York.

Mo’ne Davis asked Bloomsburg University to reinstate baseball player Joey Casselberry, who was dismissed from the team after writing an offensive tweet about the 13-year-old girl on Friday.
