65-Year-Old Mother Of 13 Pregnant With Quadruplets

A 65-year-old German grandmother is reportedly pregnant with quadruplets.

Annegret Raunigk, who has 13 children and seven grandchildren, decided to try for another child because her youngest daughter, who is nine, wanted a little brother or sister.

The Russian and English teacher, from Berlin, became pregnant after 18 months of artificial insemination, said Luxembourg-based broadcaster RTL.

RTL said it would broadcast an interview with Ms Raunigk, whose oldest child is 44, on Monday evening and plans to film her through her pregnancy.

Arkansas Woman Helps 2,000 Ex-Felons Find Full-Time Jobs

Finding employment after being in prison can be next to impossible.

Not only do these people have to battle the stigma of a criminal record, they are also barred from some types of jobs entirely, including those in the childcare, education and healthcare fields. It’s no wonder that so many ex-felons turn back to a life of crime just to get by; two-thirds are re-arrested within three years of their release.

But in Little Rock, Ark., one woman has given thousands of former inmates a second chance to contribute to society, local station THV11 reports.

Homophobic GOP Congressman OUTED By CBS Journalist

Republican Congressman Aaron Schock is rather well-known throughout the internet and media for two things: The shirtless photos of himself he posts online, and the persistent rumors that he is gay.

Having voted against the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell,” as well as against numerous pieces of hate crime legislation, it could be easy to assume he is just a boiler plate, anti-gay conservative. However amid an explosive allegation by a CBS reporter, many are beginning to wonder if perhaps the Congressman doth protest too much.

2 NYPD Officers Shot, Wounded In The Bronx

Two NYPD officers have been shot in the Bronx, police say.

It's not clear what led to the shooting on East 184th Street and Tiebout Avenue in the Fordham section shortly after 10:30 p.m.

The officers were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and are expected to be OK, the NYPD said.

A law enforcement source said it appears one officer was shot in the back and the other shot in the arm. Preliminary investigation indicates the anti-crime, plain clothes officers were responding to a burglary call, a police source said.
